Samsung say they had over ten million pre-orders of the phone! They stayed with an 8 megapixel camera for this phone so that the device could be as thin as possible, and the forward facing camera records a fantastic 720p video-so all yourself portraits and videos no longer have to be grainy. The video camera has an anti-shake function, so no more wobbly videos, and the video player is also very good quality for actually viewing videos on your phone. One of the best things about it is the simple and easy layout.
The operating system on the Galaxy S3 takes up 5 GB of space, which is something to consider when choosing your memory for your phone however, thanks to the Micro SD card slot you can expand the storage to whatever size you like. Also, Samsung are offering 50 GB of Drop box storage – so you need not ever have storage problems again after all of that!
The music player is very good. As soon as you connect your headphones you can open up the music player, and all the apps that work with headphones such as YouTube or FM Radio will appear in the notifications pane. It’s handy functions like this that makes the phone so easy to use. You can even select a virtual surround sound option, which is quite realistic. The music player isn’t a stand out feature, but it’s the ease of use that makes it worth a mention. Battery life is excellent on the device, and many tests have shown it to go on for eight hours during heavy use.
