The most important, perhaps, already confirmed to go on sale this year are:
A.) The Lord of the Rings: War of the North. Based on the books of JRR Tolkien, and continuing with the success of movies, this game will be released for PC 
(Windows), Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 simultaneously, announced by Warner Bros Interactive Ltd.
B.) Dead Space 2 – released on January 25: The game has already come out in Play Station and Xbox 360 on January 25.
C.) F1 2011 – FIFA 2011 – PES 2011: The sports games will not be absent in 2011, and as it is announced the launch of Formula 1 – 2011 (not confirmed what platforms will), we can foresee that there will be a FIFA 2011 and PES 2011, put the seasons in the game, and possibly with some improvements, especially in the visual, but no substantial changes in the game, with new tricks.

1.) Mortal Kombat 2011 PC Announced – Top Fighting Games
Warner Bros. announced a new Mortal Kombat title Syndicated as “the most 
brutal edition”. It will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2011.Its official announcement said that the new release “marks the triumphant return of the series to mature presentation and a reinvention of the classic 2D fighting mechanics. Powered by a new graphics engine, the crowd favorite Fatalities are back, and presented with a level of detail bloodiest ever. Additionally, Mortal Kombat introduces a number of new game play features, including team combat and deep story mode of any game genre.
At the same time, Warner promises that the game will incorporate “the most extensive online experience never before seen in a fighting game, in which up to four players can fight in groups and two players, can play at the new Cooperative Arcade mode.
2.) NBA Elite 2011
NBA Elite, EA changed its name to its legendary NBA Live basketball saga.After 15 
years, the legendary basketball video game franchise of Electronics Arts, the until now known as NBA Live, will undergo a drastic change. From November 2010, the normal output of the NBA Live, the NBA franchise will be known as Elite. News of NBA Elite 11 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is already announced.
EA has announced radical changes in this new release, to start a new control system, new graphics, new and physics system. EA mentions that NBA Elite will be the basketball game where the player controls each movement, dribbling, shooting, stealing and blocking real-time with a new control system against each one.
Peter Moore President of EA Sports big basketball fan and said that the major changes will occur in NBA Elite will be the largest seen decades. “2011 NBA Elite playable introduce improvements that fans have been waiting for years”
3.) Hitman 5 (temporary name)
IO Interactive is apparently working hard in the face of a new delivery of new series of Hitman. The information secures the release of the game for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 28, 2011.
4.) The Last Guardian PC Game (2011)
New Team Ico game: The creators of successful games like ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, which came exclusively for the PC, Sony PS3, and Playstation 3.
This new game is also known as: Project Trico, ICO 3
Adventure game where we are as a companion to a mythical creature a tap.

Since the time we learned of the development of Max Payne 3 PC Game, many have 
had problems sleeping. But what have they done to our dear/beloved Max Payne? What has he become? What a bald, fat struggle in Brazil? Duke could do it. ‘Duke Nukem Forever’ has been officially announced to be released this year. So suddenly in Penny Arcade Expo and after an agonizing process of developing around 12 years.
And here comes the good. The quality seems assured and the international publisher is, but obvious, 2K Games.

the funny thing with Duke Nukem Forever is that the official release of the game is the 1oth of June 2011 after 13 years of working on the game. But personally I have doubts that they would finally manage to complete the game.
