Hey that’s a cool list of iPAD apps but my favorite app is missing.Sortshots is a wonderful photo organizing app.I use an app named Sortshots (www.sortshots.com) which lets you sequence on name, size etc. as well as create a custom sequence with a simple drag and drop interface. There are several more features like EXIF/Metadata support, Tagging, Share and so on but the sequencing is the one which made me buy this thing.. Take a look in case that helps
Wow, this is really awesome!! Just these photo editing apps alone are enough reason to get an iPad. I own a Canon D7 DSLR camera which certainly takes better pictures than the iPad, but it would be interesting to see what these apps could do to boost the images I’ve taken with my DSLR.
I agree with the post from Canon – the iPad apps do not come close to the quality of a digital camera like e.g. the Canon EOS ti1 / rebel ti1 or the Canon 5D or 7D. However, the apps allow for great versatility and creativity when actually modifying the digital pictures. So that makes them useful tools for anyone using digital cameras. Great blog, thank you.

Subsequently, I discovered the Sony tg5v – similar to the iPad that Canon mentioned, this device can shoot awesome videos, not only still pictures. It actually has some nice features built in, e.g. some video and picture editing functionality. My new preferred travel mate.
