I think Amplitube’s guitar app and their iRig deserve a shout out in that list.. It’s a great tool for guitarists and useful.
Not only for guitars and bass. I use the IRig and Amplitube with my Yamaha SB-7 electric trumpet mute. It allows me to run several different effects processors through my trumpet. It’s never sounded so cool The posibilities are endless.

ezPiano for iPad is a magical app that lets you have fun with the piano on the go. It’s released 4 days ago and is already one of the top music apps in App Store.

Ezpiano is really good. Just bought it1. but can you get a refund on an app that was not as good as you thought.

Yes! There are a lot of apps for the iPad now. NLog Pro is my favorite. I also like Korg ims20. Morphwiz is such an eye candy and sweet to the ears too! Perfect tool to get those kids to enjoy serious music.
Musix is another iPad Music app that uses an isomorphic keyboard. This means you can learn one pattern (for example, a chord or a riff) and play it in key just by moving the starting note. Korg makes some very nice drum machines for the iPad. They are a little expensive, but definitely worth it.
StreamToMe and Virtuoso are the two best iPad apps. Anything streaming is fantastic. I don’t like downloading at all. The Virtuoso app is a must-have for anyone learning the piano. It’s piano lessons on the go.
