We have not even started using Firefox 4 properly and the Mozilla have started preparing the next in the series Firefox 5. It is interesting because we have not been able to get the gist of Firefox 4 and the company is planning of launching the next version around 21st June.

This new version of Firefox is said to have many new features along with the best of Firefox 4. Let us review each aspect associated with this new upcoming browser, the latest addition to the browser family by Mozilla.
1.) Better Updating For Add-On

There has been a partiality when it comes to the devices for which Firefox is made and it leaves out the most popular ones tablets, windows phones and the iPhone. and what is your better alternative? I compared several times FF with Chrome and have found out consistently that FF uses less memory even with multiple ad-ons installed and at least 10 tabs open (heavy on flash and javascript)
I tried and tried to make sense to why some prefer Chrome over FF and still can’t understand. FF is so many more times more versatile than the other browsers, Chrome is only a tad faster

Social Sharing is neccessary nowadays. I hope Firefox would intergrate facebook functions, like what rockmelt did. Besides, Firefox should develop a faster and lightweight browser to compete with Chrome.

This is utter poop. Social Sharing is, in no way, *neccessary* nowadays.
Why have FireFox tie themselves to Facebook just because *you* use it. That is exactly the sort of reason that addons was invited for.
Mark you noob FF 4 uses more memory because its designed to use more memory but only when memory is available. Newer computers come with at least 4 gb of ram and can afford to let FF use more memory so ff takes advantage of it.. i have been using ff for ages.. but i must say IE 9 is the best browser Microsoft has pushed out to date. but i still use FF because of the addons and good security.

It should be called version 4.1 rather than 5. To do so gives the update more importance than it deserves

I only recently upgraded to firefox 4x from the previous 3.6x version I think it was. I can’t say I am loving it, but it isn’t too bad. I’m sure they will work a few bugs out of it in months to come. Firefox has been the best browser for me I always look forward to new stable releases. The war of the browsers I guess we are in. Between mozilla, ms, and google fighting for popularity hopefully it brings many more features, performance, and speed to us end users.

I’ve been using FF4 pretty much since they launched it. It’s good. Nice UI, easy to use and quick loading.
I don’t like the idea of social network tie ins and remembering passwords etc. My pc is shared so I don’t want anyone coming along and logging into my online banking or something instantly. Each to their own however as this would make some peoples lives easier.
The user interface is completely redesigned and optimized for small screens, the controls are hidden away so that only the web content is shown on screen, and it uses touchscreen interaction methods. Thanks.

Appears that I have been missing out. Been a Safari surfer for awhile now, probably time to change it up. Plus I really dislike how Safari doesn’t have any in-browser html editing tool… I usually only hop on FF the Firebug tool to make simple visual edits on my Circle Lenses website. I suppose that I might as well use FF completely, can’t wait for more releases!
