This is the first time I have seen a comprehensive list of security plugins for WordPress so many thanks. The only problem will be what not to add as I know that a lot of plugins will slow the performance of my site. Any more posts developing this topic, or experience of specific security plugins, would be most useful.
It sounds like automated blogging attacks and outright spamming is a real problem. These seem to be quite a set of methods to prevent this.
When it comes to simplicity and technicality, as well as security, WordPress is the thing for any blogger. Ever since I’ve been using it I find it hard to try others like it. It seems like they don’t suit me well.
