Gadgets in Windows 7 are pretty cool concept to track the system activities. Actually gadget concept was came with Window vista but it failed. After that than Microsoft decided to improve the concept and reel-off a managed and proper platform for Gadgets along with Window 7.
The new Gadgets system is very helpful to know the information about a computer system like CPU, memory, hard drive and network usage and many more. You can also search gadgets in the start menu search box and access the list of those Gadgets which are already installed in your computer system.
Unknowingly compute users ignores Windows 7 Gadgets because they really don’t know about the fact that how smoothly they can managed and monitor system activities with Windows 7 Gadgets. I personally thinks that the Windows 7 Gadgets are having many advantages over Google Desktop.

Found a work around for the eject on External HDD, just add the name of the HDD on settings, it should keep it in memory
I took Switch’s drive info and you can add this to rds’s (remove drive safely’s) functionality to eject a flash drive, it works perfectly, and it doesnt consume cpu like RDS, credit goes to sushi and switch, the things i added are not that many. You can now also eject a CD/DVD from the gadget, also, the eject button moved to the left to avoid overwriting with long name drives.

I used to use gadgets such as Q’s Drive Info, but I found that I never really used them most of the time, and they consumed CPU and memory. I just use the resource monitor when I need to check up on my system.
